Description
FertiCult™ IVF Medium is a straightforward, ready-to-use solution built for the core steps of an IVF cycle — oocyte washing, holding, and fertilization, whether you’re doing conventional IVF or ICSI. It covers the process right through to the 2-pronuclear stage, so there’s no need to switch media mid-procedure.
The formulation is bicarbonate-buffered and includes glucose, lactate, pyruvate, and 4.0 g/L human serum albumin sourced from medicinal-grade human blood plasma. It’s a clean, well-balanced composition that keeps conditions stable without overcomplicating things. For labs that prefer it, the medium is also available with phenol red for visual pH monitoring, and optionally with gentamicin (10 mg/L) for added antibiotic cover.
Quality-wise, it’s tested against a solid panel — Mouse Embryo Assay, Human Sperm Survival Assay, endotoxin limits, and sterility — all in line with Ph. Eur./USP standards. CE-marked under MDR (Notified Body 2797) and registered in Brazil, with regulatory documentation available for other markets on request.
Available in 20 mL, 50 mL, and 100 mL formats, with or without phenol red and gentamicin — so you can order exactly the configuration your lab works with.
